Biography

Ms. Lily Li received her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry from Donghua University, Shanghai. During her senior year, she completed a one-year exchange program at the University of California, Davis. She later obtained a Master’s degree in Nutrition, Food Science, and Technology from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Ms. Li joined the State Key Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Department of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong in 2017 as an administrative staff member and has extensive hands-on experience in laboratory administration and management. She is responsible for the daily administration and overall operation of the laboratory. Her duties include human resources management, research project and funding administration, organization of research events, seminars, and conferences, as well as coordination of subdivision and institute operations. She also facilitates communication and collaboration between the laboratory and internal departments, as well as external institutions.
