Dr. Chao LUAN

Biography

Dr. Luan is an Associate Chief Physician in the Department of Dermatology at the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College (CAMS-PUMC). Concurrently, she serves as a Visiting Scholar at the State Key Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology (SKLPB), the University of Hong Kong. Her primary research centres on the pathogenesis of psoriasis, photo-aging, and photo-dermatology. During her tenure at the SKLPB, she is leading a project focused on developing an ultrasensitive proximity-based immunoassay. This assay aims to advance the detection and understanding of dermatology-related autoimmune diseases, including Lupus, Dermatomyositis, Scleroderma, and Psoriasis.
